Carl never has been, and never will be, the most technically sound fighter, that's obvious. That doesn't matter though. He has plenty of skill, he just does things in a unique way. His low jab is strong, snappy and difficult to predict, he controls distance, his combo's are powerful, his chin/heart/will to win are as good as anyone in the sport.

It takes more than technical ability to be great; Zab Judah had all the skills you could ask for, yet he got his ass kicked in all the big fights because he lacked the other skills required.

I've been thinking about who the sloppiest punchers of all time are and Carl must top the list. In terms of punch delivery (I am talking about the motion of his arms here), terrible balance, slow-motion for me, footwork, he is absolutely without any doubt the worst champion or contender in the history of boxing.

If I go back and look at some crude boxers who were champions and contenders they are all so much more fluid with their movement and faster too. I am talking about Cuvalo, Lamota, Marciano, Foreman, Mayorga and there must`ve been many others too. What`s crazy though is that all of these guys seem faster, with more skill and talent. So I think Froch is the absolute worst.

Everybody is dissing on Maidana`s lack of skill. I think Maidana is way more skilled than Froch and faster too, which is the crazy part. It just goes to show you how slow Froch is. Maidana has a better balance, maybe a worse jab. Mathyse looks like a boxing expert and seem like a tremendous talent next to Froch.

Froch`s goodégreat qualities - tremendous chin, incredible self-belief, he is in great shape, he`s got monkey arms and he makes a great use of his long jab with some very nice timing. He`s active, he`s got tremendous composure when under fire and he`s got some power, but not to the extent some people will make you believe. Let`s face it he couldn`t do nothing to Pascal, old Glen Johnson, Dirrell, AA, Kessler twice, Ward. His power ain`t all that. It`s good but he`s not a Mathyse o GGG`s power.

So if he`s worse than all of them why does he keep winning - it could be drugs, it could be black magic, mind manipulation, I don`t know for a fact but I do know that his competition hasn`t been what people believe it is. Let`s try to break it down a little bit here:

Jean Pascal - a unanimous solid decision in a competitive fight against a good, solid fighter (his biggest win to date for Carl in my opinion)

Jermain Taylor - stops Taylor in the 12th. Taylor was not a 168 pounder and he was coming back from two beatings at 160 at the hands of Pavlik before making his debut against a very shop-worn Lacy at 168. He got stopped even worse next against another unproven 168 pounder in Abe.

AA - what can I say about him as a fighter at 168. Check his resume at this weight class

Andre Dirrell - a guy with 18 fights at 168 who hasn`t faced anybody of any note goes to England, runs like a chicken and still Carl couldn`t land 5 clean shots on him. Andre landed way more than 5. I thought Dirrell should`ve won the fight 8 to 4 at least and I absolutely hate the way Dirrell fights, I was cheering for Froch actually. I think this was his first fight in the super six too.

Mikkel Kessler 1 - He loses to Mikkel in a very close fight after Mikkel had an awful fight and a beating against Ward. Not to mention problems with eyes.

Glen Johnson - He beats Johnson 8 to 4 or 7 to 5 in a close competitive fight where Johnson came down in weight. I mean Johnson in his prime and at 175 mauls him.

Andre Ward - He gets outclassed completely. In his post fight Andre was asked if he was surprised by anything and surprisingly Andre said that what he was most surprised with was how slow and easy to hit Carl was. Duh!

Lucian Bute - he then ices a green, unproven protected Bute who quivers when being hit, who was stopped in 3 rounds by GGG wearing a helmet and all. A good victory, but Bute`s biggest victory was against Sakio Bika maybe

Yusaf Mack - who hasn`t stopped Yusaf

Kessler 2 - he wins 7 to 5. I gave Kessler rounds 4,5,6,9 and 11. Kessler has been inactive, feeding on bums, and his reaction to even grazing shots was terrbile he seemed to lose his balance all the time by grazing jabs, which was crazy. He was slower, flatter on his feet.

So Froch fought Kessler 2, Ward, Jean Pascal, Dirrell and Bute. This is his opposition at 168. He lost two fights for sure and arguably lost the fight against Dirrell. He had a back and forth battle with Pascal where he seemed to me much better and he steamrolled Bute. So he`s won 4 out of these 7 fights technically. That`s not bad, but let`s not pretend that he outclasses a good opposition. You can`t outclass good fighters with the skill and talent that you have. Size, will, chin, strength, endurance, composure can take you only that far. The way Carl throws punches he looks like Brock in there, literally Brock looks super slow and stiff when he throws punches, Carl might be a lil better with his speed and punch delivery. See I had to go to UFC to find somebody who is worse than Froch in throwing punches. Froch like I`ve said is the biggest overachiever in all of sports.

I mean, this guy is terrible! I've never seen such a slow, poorly coordinated, sloppier puncher at an elite level like that. I mean Margarito has more skill than him in both defense and offense. If only Kessler weren't a washed up fighter like that. The Kessler from the Zaghe fight obliterates Froch and right now Ward will knock him out. The boxing Gods must be looking over Froch cause he is one of the worst I've ever seen talent and skill wise. He makes Danny Garcia look like Floyd.

LOL - Eubank, Kessler, Lacy and Bhop are better than any victory Froch holds against anyone. It's not even close and Joe's resume ain't much, it goes to show you a thing or two! Just remember one thing - the only fighter to be listed as a favourite against Calzadhe was Jeff Lacy, we all know what happened to him after Joe massacred him. Froch's resume better than Calzaghe's in terms of wins and quality of wins, not even close!
