Floyds style in other weight classes?

Would Floyds fighting style work in higher weight classes? So if a heavyweight magically gained all Floyds skill and style would it be effective in that weight class? Or are fighting styles completely different in different weight classes?

The workrate at heavyweight is more adapted to floyds style of fighting.

It is not a heavyweight style, I mean if a guy was as good as him they could do work there but no matter how good you are you will get hit and at heavy 1 punch can totally change a fight.

Cruiser and below it would work better in but still if you are facing the wrong guy and he manages to land that 1 punch it could be trouble and as you go up the scales that becomes more of a factor.

Still it would work good because the guy using it would be big also so landing one or two at a time clean would have more effect on the other guy, while not taking much in return so chances favor the person using it (if they can do it as good as Floyd anyways).

If it is a faux gauzi version of Floyd's style that wouldn't work at all~

He is a great fighter with speed, timing, accurate punching, decent power, ring smarts, a good chin, a great defense and good stamina. A fighter like that will succeed in any weight class. A 6 foot 5 inch, 215 pound Mayweather would be hard to beat.

HW Floyd vs. Tyson. Tyson ruins his career with 1 punch.

HW Floyd vs. Foreman. Floyd tries a modified version of the rope a dope, and proceeds to die.

HW Floyd vs. Holmes. Holmes jabs him to death, and wins a clear UD.

HW Floyd vs. Klit. Jab, hug, repeat.

HW Floyd vs. Frazier. Lights out.

HW Floyd vs. Ibeabuchi. Floyd dies in the ring.

It's more than just a style. It's his intuition, his shots selection, and preparation, plus he's just naturally gifted.

I think it would James Toney and Chris Byrd did well for HW's and it almost a similar style and they were undersized.

Give a HW adequate size and I think it translates, I think all styles translate to every weight class it just depends on the attributes of a fighter. I don't think Wlad could pull of Floyd style because he's too stiff, which is why he fights the way he does.
