As reported on BoxingScene previously reported, Denton Vassell's showdown with Birmingham's Frankie Gavin has been switched from Wembley Arena to Liverpool's Olympia venue. The Commonwealth and British welterweight title fight was originally due to take place on June 15 at Wembley only to be moved to July 20 earlier this week. Now, though, the "Battle of the undefeated" will take place on June 28, which is music to the ears of Bob Shannon, who trains the 20-0 (10) Vassell.
