Frank Warren: Cleverly did a job on Kessler in sparring

He's trying to protect his eye and would like to avoid cuts. Nevertheless, you could easily get through on that.
I'm just surprised at how much spin is coming out of this. Cleverly did not beat Kessler up in sparring. Come on. He's a world champion and they had some good sparring, but that's that.Comment

if anyone looked drained it was froch, kessler looked nowhere near as glycogen depleted and he made the weight comfortablyComment

I'm surprised so many people are looking forward to Froch-Kessler 2. Kessler's inactivity, injuries, and lack of decent opposition since the Super Six, is going to get him an absolute beating this time out. And I'm a person that picked Kessler with no hesitation at all in the first fight. Also, does the story about Cleverly spanking Mikkel in sparring surprise anyone? Cleverly has a completely different style than Froch anyway, but the shell of Kessler isn't able to compete with a bigger, quicker world champion in his prime.Comment

Seems to me, in most of you're recent posts the way your're twisting things to suit kessler, that you're trying to convince yourself kessler's going to win. I think you kind of know the most likely truth that froch is gonna exact bloody revenge.Lol anyone expecting Cleverly to come out and say he was schooled? They are notoriously trying to build up Clev in the UK. Beating Kessler up in sparring is a good way of promoting him.
A lot of people have been saying Kessler was handled in sparring by Groves and Clev, but he has had no marks on his face throughout the build up, whereas the same cannot be said for Froch even though he's been sparring fighters like Callum smith and Tony bellew who lost to Cleverly.
It's pretty ridiculous tbh, take nothing from this at all.Comment

I'm a big fan of Froch as well. Just think Kessler is the better fighter and there's no way Frank 'the fish' Warren is making me believe that Cleverly beat up Kessler in sparring.
I think it's laughable that Sky sells it as a 50-50 fight when no one is picking Kessler. Lets see what happens. I just think Froch is talking a little too much saying he'll do this and that when he's been struggling with opposition inferior to Kessler and already lost to him.
I'm confident Kessler will win this and you will see why tonightComment
