Especially if its not making u more than fighting someone else.
Same guys that say Floyd fights smaller guys and uses weight to his advantage(which is amazing since he's usually the smaller guy) are the same guys defending Canelo for calling out and 140-147lbers...yet he's a true warrior...lmao.
Then they bring up Paul Williams....jeez every damn guy avoided him....yet now it appears only Floyd has.

You can come in at higher than Floyd on fight night but that doesn't mean that they have the years of ring experience against 147 or 154 fighters.
EXAMPLE: Floyd fought at 154 then his next opponent is someone who a year ago hadn't fought at 140 nor 147 and only beat 1 or 2 average fighters at 147 who have losing records of late at WW. Now add the fact that the reason Floyd doesn't gain much weight because he is a ring rat and comes in great shape. Now does it really matter if the opponent comes in heavier? Does heavier translate to being in better shape than Floyd? Actually, especially for a fighter who recently moved up, it may be a detriment for that fighter since he may become slower, have a lower work-rate and be more lethargic ..... therefore giving the already faster Floyd even MORE of an advantage. The above was Floyd's last fighter, Guerrero.
Floyd already has most of the advantages .... he just wants to seal the deal by getting fighters who just moved up to the big boys division from 130, 135, 140 .... to 147

How can a guy be a fraud then you say he is a good fighter? Which one is it?
Guerrero had just moved up to WW. He didn't look too good in his first fight and in his second fight, he was getting hit by Berto with big shots often. The only reason he beat Berto is because Berto had no defense and no PEDs and thought he was Floyd in the first few rounds.
Those 2 guys at WW that Guerrero fought have a recent losing record at WW. The last guy he fought at the lower weights had a losing record of 4 of 5 last fights. Still, he knocked Guerrero down and was able to hit Guerrero often.
"Who is Guerrero? Who has he fought? I'm no Berto! - Floyd Mayweather
Floyd said the above. So is Floyd a liar?
Guerrero beats Manny you say? .... same people were saying that Floyd beat Hatton/Mosley/Oscar but they would kill Manny. Then Manny beats them soon after.
Styles make fights. Guerrero was too slow and flat-footed. Floyd and his team knew that Floyd can take advantage of that ...... you didn't?Last edited by ADP02; 05-26-2013, 03:25 PM.

Berto was not beating Guerrero, he couldn't handle him, and I don't recall him knocking him down but I do recall Berto getting knocked down twice. Floyd was selling the fight and also letting Guerrero and every know he doesn't need to know who he fighting, the fact is he is Floyd Mayweather the best of the best currently.
Pacquiao also had catchweight clauses and other bull**** stipulations in those fights. Pacquiao would had fought a 154 pound Oscar would of got clocked, if he would had fought a Cotto that was at his weight he would had got clocked. He drained them both down to 144, one just got beaten by a man with plaster in his gloves.. the other didn't fight since a year ago and lost. He used Mayweather blueprint against Hatton... but Hatton was a one dimensional fighter unlike Guerrero who have more tricks in his game. Pacquiao is a hyped up fighter.. only there to be used by Top Rank..
Floyd can beat anyone currently, no one have enough skills to beat him flat footed or not, do you not know this? Obviously you don't since I had to educate you on the other things..

This site before he fought Mosley.....Mosley going to knock him out...he's to strong for Floyd...blah blah...after fight Mosley is old and washed up...Mosley was a shell of himself. Pac fights Mosley. Pac beats a true warrior and a hof fighter...lmao
Guerrero is going to come at him and beat him up. This won't be easy for Floyd. After fight who the hell is Guerrero....some cherry picked bum. Pacfans....oh pac's fighting Rios...Pac taking on a young hungry stud.....lol
I hate Floyds antics but if ur going to keep moving the goalposts everytime ur wrong, then there is no sense in talking about him. No matter who he fights u will find some way to diminesh it. He has beat world champs which according to people on here are washed up scrubs just carrying belts.
