Comments Thread For: Groves Eyes Froch Clash: He's Nervous, I'd Beat Him!

GEORGE GROVES claims Carl Froch is running scared from a domestic dust-up.

The Commonwealth super- middleweight champion fights Uruguay’s Noe Gonzalez Alcoba tonight before Froch meets Mikkel Kessler.

But the build-up to their respective bouts has been peppered with a war of words between the two Brits after Froch labelled Groves a ‘traitor’ for sparring with Kessler.

This has only intensified Groves’ desire to take on Britain’s No.1 super-middleweight.

He said: “Froch is nervous about all the hype around a fight between the two of us as the people keep asking for it. [Click Here To Read More]

This nobody makes me laugh. We all know groves is a bit chinny, never mixed it on world level, not even contender level bar degale who he arguably lost too. What has he done to deserve froch exactly?

Groves shouldn't be in such a rush to jeopardize his career. He's still young.

Groves is decent, but it makes you wonder how he can become ranked at #1 by the WBO when he hasn't beaten anyone at world level. Unless you count a very old Glen Johnson.

Any body still doubting who he thinks is better of the two?

He will rue the day Froch accepts the fight and tanks his ginger ass.

Can't blame Groves for talking like this he's a contender & the Froch fight would be fight in the UK but both Froch & Kessler are on another level to Groves. Can't blame Groves for sparring with Kessler either its good experience for him & what he needs. I personally like George Groves & can see him picking up a world title but not sure if a fight with Froch or Kessler will ever happen depends if these guys are still fighting by the time he makes it to world level, if he does

Groves has a long way to go before he is ready for a fighter like Froch. His comments are foolish.
