Comments Thread For: Carlos Takam Takes Michael Grant Out in France

Gymnase du Clos de l'Arche, Noisy-le-Grand, Seine-Saint-Denis, France - Carlos Takam (28-1, 22 KOs) got one of his biggest wins todate, an eight round stoppage of heavyweight veteran Michael Grant (48-5, 36 KOs). Takam slowly broke Grant down as the fight played out and unleashed a barrage of hard shots in the eight to grab the victory. Grant, who was making the first defense of his WBF title that he won from Frans Botha in 2011, drops his second fight of his last four.

Grant was always a decent gatekeeper - mediocre heavyweights could never get past him, he's only lost to good fighters.

Good to see there's a new heavyweight contender: Carlos Takam.

That was a one sided fight. Takam dominated each rd.

              That was a fantastic fight.

He is a mix of Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson, except that he has more muscle that both.

              Takam has a new fan.
