Roy Jones believed that Toney could've beaten any current heavyweight with the exception of Rahman. Roy Jones is very educated with the many styles of boxing and so far he has been on point with everything that he has said as an HBO analyst. However, I do not see how Rahman can win this one except using his strength to overpower Toney. I think Rahman got a puncher's chance.

Toney is perhaps the best counterpuncher in the heavies today, he thrives when opponents comes forward and bring the fight to him, look at the Jirov, Guinn fights
the best strategy for Rahman IMO is to keep Toney at the end of his jab, unleashing his power right hand when the oppurtunity presents itself, avoid any close quarters exchanges with JT. just like his smart fight with Tua in their rematch.Comment

At a certain point, Toney's extra weight is going to start hurting him. Hopefully he'll train very hard for this fight. If he comes in too soft, a guy with a big punch will be able to hurt him. His exceptional stamina won't last forever if he's continually out of shape between fights. I think Toney will win this fight though.Comment

Huh? I would expect Rahman to stay outside and use his size to throw about 100 jabs a round. Maybe the Rocks just talking. If seen different fight plans show up at fight night, compared to press conference jazz.Comment
