Comments Thread For: Kessler, Sauerland Feel Froch is Cracking Under Pressure

MIKKEL KESSLER is convinced that Carl Froch is cracking up ahead of their explosive unification battle tomorrow night.

In an unusually angry outburst ahead of their super-middleweight bout at London’s 02 Arena, Froch claimed “I will kill this f****r”.

Great Dane Kessler and his camp say the comments made by IBF world champion Froch prove that the Nottingham fighter is under pressure.

Kessler, who relieved Froch of the WBC belt in Denmark in April 2010, is convinced Froch is bending under the strain. [Click Here To Read More]

well good. i'm glad froch is under pressure. maybe this time he won't take rounds off.
and go in for the kill when he hurts kess.
i tell you ive always been a froch fan. and don't understand why some britts
don't like him. but in some of his fights its like he's being a nice guy and letting opponent off the hook. no killer instinct?
well lets see how bad he kicks mr. kesslers ass second time around.

He does seem a little over cooked for is one, but to be honest I think it will bring the best (and the beast) out of him. He needs to tear Kessler a new one, demolish him like Bute.

Yeah, but Kessler is not Bute. It's a whole different animal, and if Froch goes for the kill, we'll see a war where both men will get hurt badly. Kessler will fight back ferociously.

He already has. You're seeing it in the press. Who says that much wackedness before a fight? Tyson said some really wacked stuff against Lewis right before he got his butt handed to him, but other than that, I don't remember anything worse than this. What Froch needs to do is get a system set up with his team where they answer the questions, or 'filter' his comments... because he obviously isn't capable of keeping it sane, especially close to the fight.

Froch is so pumped for this one and sometimes there can be that realisation of expectation when you're a big favourite. Even though its a 50/50 fight when the large majority expect you to win and your facing a quality opponent that no given, some people fighters - can start to think 'what if'.

There is a danger of him burning and wasting lot of unwanted energy draining him emotionally and physically before the fight starts. Then again Froch could be completely fine come fight nt.

The way us Brits seem to crack on the biggest stage, the fact Froch does seem to be overhyped and remembering how nervous he was in the Jermaine Taylor fight all have me fearing an upset here. Kessler fought in front of 50k against Calzaghe, wasn't fazed and fought well. Froch hasn't been in a fight with anywhere near this kinda hype around it... Hope I'm wrong but I'm think Kessler could hurt and capitalize on a wild, over-eager & over-confident Froch.

                    Prove me wrong Cobra!!!!
