Interesting. Would this be like a CSI Criminal Investigation episode, where at the end of the show we find that Broner's manager had some personal grudge with him and got him murdered by getting him in a ring with Matthysse?

Great fight, one thing is AB can't stay in the pocket like he usually does. His shoulder roll isn't as good as people thought it was. Could've been that Rees was faster than he expected but we know that he can be hit.

On the other hand Matthysse isn't that fast but his timing is pretty good and he's been working on countering.

          I'd love to see it.

There are 2 good tests for Broner in terms of styles that will REALLY let us know if this guy goes down as an ELITE fighter.

          1. A Boxer who can move

He is going to get this test June 22nd. Paulie has the CAPABILITY to outbox him, move, get in and out, pester him with that jab to win a lot of rounds and get a decision. The question, and I don't think it's much of a question, is if Paulie can run from Broner for 12 rounds and survive getting stopped. I don't think he can because he has no power, but this will be a test for Broner to see how he deals with boxers.

          2. A MFer with power

When some guys feel a fighter's power to the extent they realize their opponent can actually HURT them, it can completely change them. They can become gun shy and get broken down. They may realize they have a glass jaw.

If Broner WAS to beat Paulie at 147 and Lucas at 140...he's knocking on Top 5 P4P's door....if not Top 3.

Paulie doesn't use his legs like that anymore. He might against Broner, but I think he lost his legs a while ago.

Yes, I would love to see this fight. I would bet big on Lucas to win by KO. I would love to see what Broner has to say and how he acts after getting KOed.

Fights like this takes time to marinate. We're talking about years.
