Comments Thread For: Craig Windsor Banned Over 3 Years, Doping Violation

Coatbridge’s Craig Windsor has been banned for three years and nine months by the UKAD due to an anti-doping violation. The 9-2 (2) Super middleweight contender was charged with possession of two substances ‘based on non-analytical evidence’ after information was passed to the UKAD by Larry “War Machine” Olubamiwo, who had his own ban dramatically reduced as a consequence. Windsor admitted the rule violations last month and now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

So Larry O got his long-term ban removed by informing on others.

I'm glad that cheats are getting caught, but I don't think someone should get away with using a shedload of illegal drugs just because they were willing to grass up everyone else when they got caught.

His ban was ridiculously long to begin with. Not to say he didn't deserve it, but even with a reduction, he's old now, and will be too old to make a comeback when its said and done. They may as well use him to roll out other cheats so that the smackdown can be laid upon them as well. Hope there are more to come.

            What about Love?

Too bad this guy probably had no money. All he needs is a doctor's note and some money under the table and BOOM he's good to go.

Doping agent just going for the fall guys again, why don't you catch the stars who are making millions whilst cheating. No fighter can win world titles in four/five different weights without help from Mr.Steriod. Fact!

If he gets his license back straight away he's not too old at all. He's 35 and has been out for less than 18 months.
