I was in two minds about who I wanted to win given Froch has been a little more respectful to Kessler lately.

He reminds you why he is still often disliked with comments like this though so definitely backing Kessler again.

This is why Froch isn't on great terms with a good few English boxers at all levels, some of which have been helping Kessler.

      He's dis-respectful, arrogant and lack's integrity.

It's good he's apologised but the problem is it's already been said now and out there in the public domain. What if something happened to Kessler now.

Froch's really let himself down this campaign with the whole sparring thing and now this. And, the comments after the sparring, this came from the same man who called Kessler up the day of the fight to tell him how to beat a fellow Brit by targeting Magee's body.

Either Froch isn't handling the pressure of this occasion v well or he's showing his true colours now.

Arh, then it's all good. You can say whatever the hell you want these days, and then just 'apologize on twitter'. Froch comes across as an immature twat this time.

This fight has been sold long ago it does not need to go down this route - so please all you Froch fans stop trying to justify this.

I'm a fan but jeez he sounds like he's lost control of his mind with these comments. They're going to go down especially badly with the media given the events in London yesterday.

The BBBoC might investigate further and Froch could face disciplinary action:

Carl Froch has apologised for threatening to 'kill' Mikkel Kessler in their IBF super-middleweight fight in London on Saturday night - but will still face an investigation by the British Boxing Board of Control.

It's been confirmed that the BBBC are now investigating these comments.
