Since last sept until june, Golovkin will have fought 4X, while canelo will have fought just ounce. One of my biggest pet peeves about boxers if inactivity

i don't think this fight will ever happen. i love being wrong, doe.

if they do fight think golovkin wins by stoppage. he's bigger, harder hitting, applies real pressure behind a jab and workrate, and he's a technician. canelo doesn't move his head enough. he'd eat the jabs early on and the right hands in the middle rounds. mid round stoppage. alvarez has a good chin, but it will not matter.

True, GGG didnt get to fight as many cab drivers
IMO, should have went the Canelo path and inflated his numbers

WBA "regular" middleweight champ Gennady Golovkin is in full training in Big Bear, CA, under Abel Sanchez for his upcoming defense June 17 in Panama City against Kassim Ouma. Golovkin has been sparring with among others Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Zapir Rasulov. Alvarez is training for his June 18 title defense against Ryan Rhodes in Mexico. Pictured below are Golovkin and Alvarez after a tough sparring session.

They looks about the same size to me. Canelo is shorter, but stockier.

              Triple G stops Canelo.
Golden Boy will never make that fight though.

Depends when it happens, right now Golovkin would stop him.

How long more is Canelo going to make 154 for? By the time he moves up 3G may have gone to 168 for bigger fights.

                    GGG overpowers Alvarez
he might not necessarily stop him, but his power wins the day
Alvarez didn't look so hot vs his 1st legit opponent in Trout
GGG is stronger than Trout with much more power
they'd probably meet head on with GGG doing more damage
Alvarez doesn't have the stamina to outbox GGG for the long haul
