i love seeing styles clash as well
You just took a guy's weakest point and matched it with the other guy's strongest point. ( And yes, I rate Floyd's accuracy higher than his defense)

      How is that fair?

I mean, in a perfect world, Floyd would have fought Pac ages ago. But we have gotten some really bad match ups in Ortiz and Guerrero. Khan will be a much more attractive fight.

its only more attractive because it will end in a KO

I have to disagree. It is not the ONLY reason. I predicted a TKO for Floyd in the 9th round myself, but Khan will land shots. For sure. THAT is what will make the fight attractive. To see Floyd being in spots of bother.

Great analysis (along with your last, more detailed post).. I could see it going a similar way. Khan has the speed to trouble Floyd in spots but Floyd has the adaptive ability to deconstruct Khan's style. You think Khan has any success in trying to imitate De La Hoya's blueprint?

We get a Draw with both men being dropped 3 times in one round and then tons of rounds of headbutts clinching and lowblows

                Floyd by KO
Khan has speed, but he's too easy to hit
and when hurt, he doesn't know how to defend himself
Floyd would counter Khan's attack until he hurt him
then he'd start leading and break Khan down en route to a stoppage

Khan has the most loyal, devoted fans in the world. He just barely beat Diaz who boxrec ranks as the #36 welterweight in the world. Diaz damn near KOed Khan and he might have finished Khan if the English referee didn't stop the action to warn Diaz for taunting Khan. Khan could not knock Diaz down even though Diaz has been KOed 5 times. How would Khan do with the best welterweight in the world? I think he would lose every round by a mile until Mayweather got tired of playing with him and KOed him.

We know there's no chance in hell that khan wins. Other than maybe troubling him first round or 2 the rest would be destruction by floyd n n tko in 8. No chance so it's not intriguing at all

Khan's hand a footspeed would genuinely cause Floyd some trouble and it would take some rounds to get used to. Amir's problem though........is that he is hittable. He is not disciplined enough not to get tagged and throwing combos against Floy will egt him tagged more than a few times.
