I wonder what wil happen to the lucas fan club on here if Danny pulled off the win decisively. Huge hype train for Lucas on here, which he deserves, but damn ever time Danny has a fight coming up he is shat on and a massive underdog. It wod be prety hysterical if he beat Lucas after all the ko and shutout predictions. Make the fght Gbp!

Why do people keep saying Garcia is always the underdog? The only fight he was an underdog in was the Khan fight. 70% of this site picked him to knock Judah out.

Any way, this will definitely be top ten candidate for fight of the year regardless of how long it lasts. Matty has power, Garcia has underrated defense and counters well. The fact that Garcia actually throws straight punches, will take a lateral stap from time to time, and be throw a jab makes him technically superior to Matthysse my man. Matthysse throws a bunch of wild, looping punches, much like Maidana. What makes him good is that he has the handspeed to catch guys with those powerful punches he throws. But outside that, he's not all that tough a nut to crack. Which is why he lost to a less that 100% Alexander and washed up Judah. Yes they were close and could have gone either way. But those decisions weren't robberies. But I guess since he KO'd the great Lamont Peterson, all is forgiven.

Do yourself a favor and be an actual fight fan that can objectively break down a fighter and not just fall in love with the flavor of the month.

Bro... Are you saying Lucas doesnt throw straight punches? Garcia is as wild as they get. Ask anybody here what Lucas' best punch is.

This has fight of the year potential both big sluggers good chins I see a KO in the later rounds. I'm a Garcia fan this is the perfect fight to prove himself and take his career to the next level. I wish him luck but that power from Lucas My God! I'm excited make it happen. That's the beauty of making the best fights happen even if someone loses in a valiant effort they still win!

This fight HAS to get made. It will be a great fight. A war.

Matthyse is vulnerable to speed and movement, but Danny doesn't have that. Lucas adapted well in the Peterson fight, becoming much more aggressive in the 2nd round after losing the first round. He has developed since the Judah (3years ago) and Alexander (2 years ago) fight and is more of a rounded fighter now. Having said that, I don't think Garcia will get sparked early, he's a good counter puncher and Lucas is a little wild and off balance so leaves openings...that won't be enough though.

I got Lucas by TKO in the 7/8th after a mid fight war.
