Mikkel Kessler's promoter Kalle Sauerland has reported the WBA super middleweight champion to be in rude health. Kessler arrived in the UK on Tuesday and immediately went to the Hayemaker Gym in Vauxhall for a media workout session. Sauerland was at the gym in good time and told Sky Sports the nation of Denmark would be behind their man on Saturday night. As for Kessler's controversial sparring with Brits George Groves and Nathan Cleverly, Sauerland played it down.

I don't get this sparring beef- groves is 14-0 and even though their part of the same stable ( matchroom) , their both super middleweights who it seems are being lined up to face each other at some point providing they keep winning. Groves has spared with Froch before and cleverly is in a different weight class and with a different promoter. On both of their behalfs I don't see a problem with them sparring with one of the top super middle weights in the world. I know Froch and haye are friends- is haye a traitor for letting Kessler use his gym! As for the fight- everyone( me included) has seemed to think that as its the rematch, and Froch is the hometown fighter that he'll win this time. But on closer inspection and taking into account the top quality sparring that kesslers had compared to Carl ( other than bellew the only sparring partners mentioned were a couple of novices I'd never heard of) I feel we may be overlooking Kessler .the general feeling seems to be that Carl is tougher but Kessler has never been stopped and has only lost to calzaghe and ward ( no disgrace there). So if they are both as tough as each other, I would say that Kessler is slightly quicker and the better boxer. This is just the general opinion of everyone I've spoken to, I'm sure it'll be a great fight and may the best man win- just to clarify, I like both fighters
