    Shawn Porter....

I understand he had registered here on boxingscene but you guys gave him a hard time. I went to see him live during Matthyse vs. Peterson. This guy has skill. He is sharp, fast, and kept his workrate at a good pace for all of the rounds. You guys still not to big on him? The boy can fight

did they really give him a hard time?

    that's embarrassing.

i never felt porter was a top prospect, but he's a talented kid and he can be in some meaningful fights.

He can and making the right steps up to try and up his name.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a title shot next year.
A lot of people are turned off by his Diaz performance.... which is understandable

He's a good young fighter. Fast hands, aggressive, very exciting. I watch all of his fights and look forward to seeing what kind of career he will have.

Yea I remember some poster criticizing him about his skill level. He was in here just trying to mingle with fans since he was coming up. I think he actually gave someone here a ticket to watch him fight once. Ill have to watch the fight if it comes on the showtime undercards but it his performance stuck out the most other than Matthyse KO win of course

I still belive in Berto!!! Just box that's all he has to do. I don't think he'll beat Floyd but of If I TRAINED him he would be 100% better. Im sure a lot of people say that but if u want to learn proper technique hit me up . Im 19 and I know all the tricks. I'm not trying to start fights .i'll help anyone I can! I promise I'm a great trainer give me a chance, I train fighters to fight like SRL mixed with Duran and Hearns.

Chaves is a couter puncher naturally with big power like Matthysse. I think he is as good as/better than Cotto and for me that's saying a LOT. NO 140lb fighter even challenges matthysse Bar Cotto who Recycles lucas like the plastic throwaway he is

                Lay off the drugs.

Was never really impressed by Porter. He just fought guy who had no clue what to do. He'd rush in head first covering up and not do jack ****. That's what all the guys who were supposed lose did Saturday night as a matter of fact.

The only one who really fought back was Seda's opponent.

Yes this is true and yes I do smoke weed. But I think if Berto gets himself out of sparring partner mode he MIGHT do well. As we know he has all the tools. he reminds me of Judah in that way.

Porters ranked 5 by the WBA. 10 to 1 he fights Broner for the title if he gets past Paulie.
