    Freddie Roach disappointed w/Marquez

part of me wants to immediately say, well you should of give the 20 million to marquez and then the other part is glad. I feel that Paquiao/Marquez rivalry is finally closed. Marquez finally got closure and he can move on. Timmy/Marquez should be a very tough fight for both guys. The real question is on Timmy, and how that provodnikov fight affected him.

First you're annoyed he won't go away, now that he's gone, you're annoyed he won't come back?

Manny should be pissed. How are you gonna give someone 8 million rematches, then not get one when you get brutally KO'd???

Roach is right, I too feel Marquez owes Pacquiao a rematch. Maybe not immediately, but soon. Although they could fight the rest of their lives and it would be a coin toss.

Because Marquez was constantly robbed against Pacquiao. Marquez beat him at his own weight and his own terms. Lets not forget how much more Manny made because of Marquez.

He gave those rematches because they were the biggest money fights for him at the time, he also knew he didn't win or atleast clearly and JMM got a few years older after every fight which should have helped Pacquiao.

You don't want to see them fight again after those 4 classics?

You act like they were doing Marquéz a favour by dragging him up in weight past his prime to try and get a conclusive win (the third fight)

They wanted a decisive victory and they got it. Only in Marquéz' favour.

The buildup was about this being the last, definitive one. If they want another they should cut off the ego and give Marquéz a 50/50 split. He has all the leverage and no real reason to want a rematch.

Yes JMM helped make Pacquiao a star, if those fights were given to the fighter most thought won, JMM would have made a lot more money during his career.

JMM didn't make Manny a star. Oscar did.
