  • Comments Thread For: Bradley: There is Double The Drug Testing With Marquez

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley tells The Desert Sun that his upcoming defense against Juan Manuel Marquez will have double the drug testing involved. The match is set for September 14 against Marquez at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Bradley says Marquez was a bit concerned with using the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), and instead wanted USADA, the U.S. anti-doping agency. A compromise was reached and both companies will be used in the fight. [Click Here To Read More]

How much blood do they draw for these drug tests? Man that must be uncomfortable to have it drawn so much and at random times by two agencies.

Can't say anything with that much drug testing. I hope neither fails, I'm really looking forward to this fight.

History of PEDs tells us that the scientists and athletes are always one step ahead of the present drug testing systems. Granted that it takes more to beat the trays than before but if Lance Armstrong was getting blood transfusions in the middle of the Tour de France then I believe that the Conte's of the world are figuring out ways to stay in business. A lot of the people you see getting caught probably don't have that much experience with PEDs.
