For Povetkin's failure to improve or accomplish anything significant in the past 5 years????
For the longest time the Russian posters here have railed on about how Povetkin would be much better off if Atlas had never been in the picture and Boris Hyrunov could run the operation with his own mafia trainers.
Now we see how Hyrunov does things as he basically left Denis Lebedev out to die for having the nerve to lose a fight that he had paid for.
Teddy Atlas wanted what was best for Povetkin, and he got pushed out by a bunch of gangsters and fat little pudgy faced thugs.
Now all Povetkin knows he has going for him as he goes into the Klitschko fight is that he is backed by the trainer and promoter who will allow him to take more punishment than any man should ever have to endure.
My guess is when he thinks of how his same team let Lebedev get beaten to a pulp, then thinks about Wladimir Klitschko's right hand, he will start having a lot of sleepless nights.
