If Guerrero and Ortiz earned a shot, then Devon deserves a shot.

People on here convinced me that Guerrero was a better choice than Devon because he would "press the action", "push Floyd" and "make it tough for him". But Devon is "boring".

What do we get? Guerrero's high output was nonexistent and Floyd neutralized every single thing in his entire arsenal, won 11 rounds (I predicted 9) and it was an uneventful sparring session. So I'm not listening to these people anymore.

You need speed and skills to compete with Floyd. No more slow, flat footed ****s that will go in there looking lost and confused for 12 rounds.

When Floyd/Alexander was announced a lot people were begging for him to fight Guerrero because it was the lesser of two evils. They thought Guerrero would push him more because he had an exciting style.

You can be the most exciting, high volume puncher out there. Floyd's counters, movement, defense and ring skills will eliminate that. He would make Brandon Rios look like a boring fighter.

No. He should fight guys that earned the fight no matter what their style is. Alexander shouldn't be out of the discussion because of his style. He takes on tough fight after tough fight and is a world champion at 147.

If the Canelo fight doesn't go through (which as I've already stated, Floyd should take this fight) than Alexander has to be the choice. He's the most deserving fighter.

I'm not defending Floyd. He should fight Canelo. I'm defending Alexander and why he deserves the fight if Canelo doesn't get made.

If Ortiz and Guerrero got shots, Alexander should get one. He should not be passed up for Garcia or Khan.
