You think Floyd would screw Canelo if he doesn't get his way during the negotiations and decides to give Cotto a rematch at 154?

I'm hoping for Alvarez but expecting it to be Alexander.

watch & c how quick Floyd hits the gym, IMO, that determines his degree of concern 4 the gu...alvarez probably goes w/ a washed up Cotto, knowing this protected guy, he could push 4 a Shane rematch...get tired of even saying Lara, a bout that will never happen...

Personally, I'm holding out hope that Floyd may consider challenging Martinez for the middleweight title. Its the most meaningful fight out there for him and one I think he could win. I know all the Floyd haters have jumped on Canelo's bandwagon. And for what reason, I don't know. The kid has more holes in his game than swiss cheese. But from a legacy standpoint, a Canelo fight doesn't do anything for Floyd. He's already won belts at jr middle, twice. At some point in their careers, all the ATG welterweights have gone up and challenged for the middleweight title. And if Floyd ever wants to do that, the time is now. He can match up physically with Martinez. Maravilla's reign is almost over. And I promise, Floyd won't be able to match-up with whomever takes the title from Sergio from a physical standpoint.

sounds like Schaefer doesnt know who its going to be, guess the negotiations didnt go good or else Schaefer wouldnt have said things like "he is his own boss" and things like that. guys he isnt fighting Alvarez, just listen to the tone of the message by Schaefer, gives it all away

Funny thing is if Lucas fights Floyd then no one says he's ducking Garcia
Yes it is definitely a duck on this site. Remember Bradley "ducked" Khan to sign with top rank to line up the Pacman fight.

He's gonna fight Khan in the morning and Alexander in the evening, so people will have something to put them to sleep.

It would be something if he fought Canelo, Matthysse, and then Pacquiao.

You realize Sergio is injured and out the rest of the year right?

What happened to all of the people who called Floyd a liar when he said he wanted to fight twice a year, and called everyone an idiot for thinking it was highly possible?
