Try to use a little common sense. Bailey has 1 punch knockout power. Devon would have been a fool to fight him that way. That fight was boring because Bailey knew that he had absolutly no chance to box with Devon and to win any rounds, so he commited to the KO punch. It never came, and because of Bailey's record breaking lack of activity, the fight was not entertaining. Devon did what he needed to do to get the belt. If Alexander had not hurt his hand in this fight, we may have seen some 200 punch rounds. He punched 109 with one arm in one round.

Alexander's hard schedule is starting to pay dividends. He's ready for anybody at 147 or 140 that wants to move up. ANYBODY!

You're the one lacking in common sense here. THINK!! Bailey cannot fight inside at all, he is simply not an inside fighter, he needs room to punch! Alexander has shown excellent inside skills. You either get inside his punches, or stay on the outside where Bailey's extension gives him a chance. Alexander could have made the fight more exciting on the inside and won that game easily. On top of that, Bailey's power is overrated. He has had 2 KO's in his last 7 fights, his power at his age is seriously overstated and Alexander already held up to brutal punchers Maidana and Mathysee so there was nothing a guy with a 30% KO ratio in his last 7 fights was going to do to him. Mike Jones had his chin stuck out like a lantern in the night, like Paul Williams has done, thats how he got caught. All Alexander had to do was use a high guard and come forward, fight in the pocket with defence, and he would not have bored people to death.
