    no, i dont.

byrd hasnt been elusive since the stone age. toney knows how to deal with brawlers. but he also knows how to deal with boxers, especially a putz like byrd.

hasim rahman has perhaps the most overrated ko punch in boxing today. its also important to note that he was ud'd by john ruiz

ill say toney if he takes on rahman and byrd this year, or if wlad fights byrd and valuev, then him. if brewster fights anybody with a belt, he has a shot for 2 as well

Maybe, but Byrd has slipped a lot in the last two years and been inactive.

Watch the Oquendo fight and think how bad it would have been if JT was in there with him.

Byrd's slowed a step, and that puts him in the trenches. Toney breaks him down, possibly stopping him late.

I don't either, truthfully, but I'd go with Wlad just because of that jab and how well he held against Peter (boring, yes, but effective). If Wlad can hold that efficiently and move and jab like that, then he's just going to be very tough for anyone to beat. But Brewster is fighting with a whole new confidence, and has that great chin and left hook. Tough call. But I went with Wlad.

James Toney will dominate chris byrd while eating a sandwitch and drinking a milkshake between rounds and leaving to poop for rounds 4, 8 and 12.
            seriously

ive been reading than Wlad/Byrd is likely for April 22nd now after all the other bull**** we've been hearing...

that being said, Byrd will retire after Wlad beats him.

I dont think the winner or Toney/Rahman can beat Wlad or Brewster.

i dont think valuev will fight to unify within a year.

Winner or Wlad/Brewster is only person who can possibly hold two or more titles this year.

Anyone who thinks Brewster would dominate Wlad didn't see the first fight or they watched it with blinders. Now, the same thing coul unfold again but until Wlad punched himself out, he wasn't losing 3 seconds of that fight let a lone a round. In fact, the fight was nearly stopped the round before the TKO

No, Wlad threw everything in the book at Brewster, his chin stood up, and he hurt Wlad and followed it up until it was stopped.

Since than, Wlad's gone down 5 more times and Brewster's confidence has grown as he scored a few more impressive stoppage wins.

Wlad was hanging in by a thread vs Peter. He was on ***** street several times.

Brewster has arguably as much chin as peter, compairable KO power, but he puts his shots together better and sharper, has way more stamina, and won't relent when he has Wlad hurt.

It's still a bad style fight for Wlad. A relentless confident KO puncher vs a guy who loses his legs when cracked hard.

Toney is a nightmare style match up for Brewster. The size and power make Wlad a tall order, but to say Toney can't beat Brewster is non sense.
