Bad word choice, but he has less boxing technique than Cotto, should would always get murked by Manny.

I honestly think Joshua Clottey would give him a very hard time. He is a big ass welterweight who has faced huge punchers and has a solid defense in regards to his guard. I don't think Lucas would be able to hurt him properly, and Clottey has some good power in his shots.

It's a shame he's not active anymore.

Marquez is a great counter puncher so he could be dangerous and Thurman can really punch so he is also dangerous but I think Lucas can beat them after that display of skill and power he put on last night. Guerrero would be an easy win for him. Guerrero likes to slug it out and he would be in with a much better, harder punching, faster, more skilled slugger than himself. Only Marquez, Thurman, Pac, and Floyd trouble him in my opinion. He beats all the other welterweights by KO.

Lucas moving up to WW scares me. It's like when Pac moved up to WW. You knew he'd have success with the good guys, but unsure how he'd handle the weight. Lucas is like Manny in the sense that he's good enough to move up, and beat almost anyone, but at the same time, he's not a natural WW, and he doesn't move like Manny. If his power translates to WW, then he's gonna be unstoppable, but WHAT IF, he can't take a guy like Thurman/Ortiz's power?

I'm just picturing Lucas in that same position he was in with Peterson, when they both threw the left hook, and imagining that being a full blown WW that caught him square on the chin.

I'm probably being a paranoid fan, and expecting the worst for my guy. He might end up being even more beastly at WW. I hope so.
