Wow, most disappointing thing I have read all weekend.
Shane Mosley has had an incredible career, is a good guy and a hall of fame sure shot.
I understand wanting to go out with a win after the last few years, but he needs to understand that this is the best its going to get.
Cano was getting to him and although he won the fight he showed that he doesn't belong with the elite fighters anymore.
Maybe its tough for him to watch his buddy Bernard Hopkins still doing it into his 40's, or maybe its just about the money now, but I would rather not see the sport retire Mosley, he should walk away on his own.

Nobody want to see Shane no more Schaefer, start a 40 and over Division and create a title for them and let them go off and fight each other, Shane don't need to be in the ring with another 20+ year old fighter looking to use him to make a name for himself and using Shane as a stepping stone
