I'd much prefer Ward v Froch 2, or Ward moving up to 175 and fighting Pascal or Hopkins.

GGG is about 5'10'', he doesn't have the reach to get Ward, he won't be able to get close to the much bigger man to let loose his big punches. Ward is going to box rings round him.

Ward has the shortest reach of all the top SMW's at 71" inches Froch and Kessler's were listed at 74" by Showtime. HBO measures from the armpit and Froch was 24", Kessler 23", Golovkin 24" so GGG's reach is longer than Ward's.

Well pointed out. Ward's reach is 71 and Golovkin 73 1/2. Reach/wingspan in a typical person is the same as height. Ward's reach is 1 inch shorter than typical and Golovkin's 3 and a half inch longer than typical for their respective heights.

In other words Ward's arms are a bit short, and Golovkin's are long.
