I'm not as high on GGG as most are, but he should win this. If Macklin takes his time though, doesn't come forward recklessly, he could give him problems IMO. But Golovkin should touch him enough to either KO him or cut him up. Golovking by KO/TKO in RD 8 in a surprisingly competitive fight.

Although I called for total annihilation I wouldn't be surprised if the fight was competitive. We thought the same thing when Macklin fought Martinez and look what happened. The guy made him WORK to get the stoppage.

Macklin has underrated boxing skills, I expected Martinez to wreck him, but he had to take his time and break him down, losing rounds in the process. I really feel his skin could be his undoing, he cuts too easy and GGG hits too damn hard.

We all expected him to come out coming forward like he has shown. I think even Martinez did lol. One of the downfalls of watching tapes I guess.

Macklin is gonna have to move too. Covering alone is not gonna cut it. Those heavy hands will touch his body up.

He showed a side none of us had seen before and he'll have to come with even more to win this one.It will probably take the best performance of Macklin's career, but I don't think it's impossible. He seemed to gas against Sergio though, and Serg wasn't really pressing him like GGG will.

This was a really easy prediction. Oh look at the poll, LOL!

                You're right.

Does Macklin really have 4 losses? I think that went under my radar.

I missed that too. I knew of the Sturm "loss" and Martinez. Had to Boxrec it lol, Jamie Moore by KO in 2006 and Andrew Facey in 2003 on PTS.
