it's funny he brings up maidana. he seems to forget what happened in that fight. as i recall, maidana landed 1 punch and khan ran for 3 rounds trying to survive.
he also makes it sound like he destroyed maidana in the fight. he won by 1 or 2 rounds and has ignored maidana's rematch requests since then. funny how he wants garcia and peterson. but he wont give maidana or prescott a rematch.
my point is that lucas wins easy, he really only needs to land 1 punch and it's all over.
I'm aware this is pretty controversial for a first post, but please, hear me out.
Khan should have stayed with Frank Warren. Frank would have protected him after the KO against Prescott and padded his record enough for people (mainly idiots) to believe he had what it takes to be an elite fighter. Then, when the talk of a possible Mayweather fight came up and Frank rightly advised against it, he could have split from him, had his huge payday under his own promotional company and retired. Would have been far better for his health than all the beatdowns he's likely to receive from the top guys in and around his weight class.
And to everyone who says Khan is prepared to step into the ring against anyone, get real. The man needs to be forced to fight anyone who could punch their way out of a paper bag.
Even though Khan deserved the decision over Peterson, I felt he won more rounds, I mean there's no possible way I could see him not getting caught by Lucas.
