Usually, when a reserved guy puts on a tough guy act, after he's been made to feel inadequate, means he's scared.

Danny isn't really reserved. He's not a loud mouth like his pops but he's far from reserved. Ever notice him pounding his chest and rapping while he walks to the ring??? That's how reacts when he gets hyped.

Anyway, I'm smart enough to know that no professional fighter literally fears fighting anyone else. They may not want to fight because of the possibility of losing, which hurts their career.....but afraid to fight someone literally??? Naw.

That being said, Lucas is going to kill Danny.

After Lucas KO'd PEDerson... never seen him so animated... maybe his daddy is rubbing off on him.

Should be a good fight. They both punch wide. Whoever can shorten up and punch on the inside, sorta the way Lucas caught Lamont with the hook, will win the fight.

I think Lucas catches Danny in short, while Danny is throwing one of his signature Super ****** Hooks (SRH) and puts the kid to sleep... possibly hitting him so hard that his uni-brow splits into two regular eye brows.

I dont think any fighter is scared but Garcia looked concerned like o **** this guys the real deal.

Every fighter has a sense of fear walking into that ring. If you compete in combat sports, you'd know that... it's what makes you train for the fight... it's what makes you fight to win. But sometimes, a fighter allows that fear to take over. Danny Garcia will be that kind of scared if he signs a contract to fight Lucas.

People use the word scared too easily in this forum. Danny didn't do anything that implied he was scared to me. I never heard Danny say he wants Khan next or Morales next. I never heard him say he doesn't want Mattysse next. How is Danny scared? Matthysse has crazy power. It's not like Danny just figured that out last night. Seriously, did we just figure out that Lucas has a crazy power last night? Come on. Neither fighter are scared of the other.

Ali and Foreman both said they were afraid of Frazier, but it certainly didn't seem to be the case in the ring.
