Mayweather would undress him and throughly beat him up over 12. 1 punch from this dude can have you seeing stars Floyd would fight his most defensive fight in a long time which means not a lot of chances for Lucas.

Use a competent ref that'll let them fight, and Lucas gives him hell.

Floyd doesn't have the luxury of laying on the ropes, and taking a few body shots to land his counters. Lucas' has the type of power where you can't afford to let 1 flush shot land.

Last time I checked, no on on this planet has that type of defense. Make this fight happen after Garcia, and a good opponent at 147 to get his body accustomed to the weight.

Great win for Matthysse and good to see PEDerson punished, it's a travesty he still holds a title.
Why would any Mayweather fan or stan be fuming at the comparison to Pacquiao? Maybe there has been complaints? ( I don't really know) I just get the impression that a lot of the time people speak as though individuals have taken offense to something, when nothing of the sort actually happened.

Mayweather would outbox Mathysse from start to finish. He fights at a pace that would be easy for Mayweather to handle. Only way I could see Mayweather losing is if he got greedy and tried to stop Mathysse as I could see him getting caught with something nasty a la Julian Jackson v Herrol Graham.

Lets be realistic. The only chance Matthysse has is to KO Floyd early. Floyd isn't losing a decision. Floyd is a mastermind of taking away the opponents strengths. Do people ever really wonder why opponents get gun shy on Floyd later in fights? Most time people get tired of getting hit with counter shots and check hooks that they don't see coming.

Why would Lucas be any different if he can't KO him early? And obviously, Floyd legs aren't as shot as people want them to be.

You're right about not wanting to take a haymaker on the ropes. Mayweather imo is still the best fighter off the ropes he has the smarts and most importantly hes very strong. With that said he doesn't need to be on the ropes against Lucas.

And from what I saw with RG hes using his reflexes and legs a lot more effectively. Can he cut the ring off against a cat quick Mayweather ? I highly doubt it but he will make it interesting and might drop Mayweather, hurt him or both. I want to see it he has to get by Garcia first.

After Lucas beats Garcia, I think he should fight Devon @ 147 to get ready for Floyd. If not Devon than a slickster @147, because any non slickster would just get mauled in there with Lucas.

Yeah Im a die hard Floyd fan and didn't take offense in the slightest. I actually liked the idea of a guy going on a devastating KO streak albeit not up in weight like Pacquiao but still liked the idea. A lot of these posters just make up shyt as they go and arent really boxing fans just dudes trolling.

Mayweather is going to land flush several times i'll be looking to see how he takes them.
