Comments Thread For: Peterson: I’ll Fight at 140 or 147; Is Zab Judah Next?

Three months ago, after he’d defeated Kendall Holt, Lamont Peterson spoke of the effort it takes to make junior welterweight. His bout this past Saturday against Lucas Matthysse came at a contracted weight of 141 pounds, which is what Peterson weighed on the dot.

Despite his stoppage loss to Matthysse, and despite his past comments, Peterson says he can still fight at 140, though he’s also open to going up to 147 for a fight.

Jean could be his mandatory, but lately money & what's more appealing(marketable) is what the promoters are looking for & these LEECH organisms(WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO ect) are playing right along hand in hand with the promoters.. Look at how long Martinez had to wait before he got a shot at Chavez Jr for a title that was already his to begin with & was wrongly stripped by the WBC to favor Chavez Jr & after SCUM BAG Sulaiman made up some B U L L S H I T title for Martinez & said he could fight for the legitimate title at any time, Martinez had to go threw a lot of crap before he finally got the chance.. & the same thing is going on with Mickey García's WBO title, the mandatory Challenger is Orlando Cruz & after SCUM BAG Valcarcel told Cruz he was next in line, SENILE S H I T HEAD Arum pulled some strings & threw some $$$$$$ at Valcarcel & now all of a sudden Juanma Lopez(who's shot & hasn't even impressed with the TOMATO cans he's fought lately) is the one challenging Mickey García.. & "Golden Boy" owe's Judah for the way they treated him in the press conference right before the Danny García fight & to make it worst it was in Judah's hometown(Brooklyn).. They really disrespected Judah, so don't be surprised be surprised if Judah is next in line for that IBF title..

GB bettee be real careful with PEDerson. Lucas has taken his soul. You don't want him to turn out like Anthony.

Judah seems to be GBP's gatekeeper, this guy wasn't knocked down from their Ring Magazine rankings (ranked #5 currently) and now hes getting another title shot. What a fucking joke

                Good fight. For an undercard.

Its on Matthysse for the belt not changing hands. Cant really hold that against Peterson.

                    Judah vs Peterson.
