Three months ago, after he’d defeated Kendall Holt, Lamont Peterson spoke of the effort it takes to make junior welterweight. His bout this past Saturday against Lucas Matthysse came at a contracted weight of 141 pounds, which is what Peterson weighed on the dot.

Despite his stoppage loss to Matthysse, and despite his past comments, Peterson says he can still fight at 140, though he’s also open to going up to 147 for a fight.

They really disrespected Judah, so don't be surprised be surprised if Judah is next in line for that IBF title..
