In sparring before this fight. Broner sparred with him apparently...I think the story was that Peterson hurt him badly with a jab but the reports stated he was dropped. There is a pic floating around with Peterson and Broner in the gym....I believe the title was "Broner and Peterson training calves in the gym"..don't ask me about that weird ass title but he got hurt badly by a Peterson jab.

Yu believe that ish? You really believe Peterson dropped broner with a jab? Wow! How about seeing it before spreading rumors.

i heard from a good source the other day that Peterson knocked out Broner in sparring

He was only badly rocked. Peterson landed a quick jab and Broner almost went down, clearly hurt they stopped the action. Youtube already removed the video.

I'll bet all my points on it, Broner will respect Matthysse's skills.

He better not have too much respect or he will end up like peterson. Peterson won the 1st round but he did not get matthyse's respect and you could see in the 2nd round matthyse just walking right thru him with no respect.

Hearing Broner calling matthyse boogeyman you know he has a lot of respect for him. And that sometimes can't always be a good thing because broner can come in the ring having too much respect and fight intimidated like Peterson.

Broner is too hittable. Al Bernstein got it right in the Ajose fight when he said that only a master boxer will beat Matthysse. Broner, despite the Mayweather imitation, is a ****er at heart. He's not comfortable on the back foot. If PDL had him on the run I would love to see the look on his face against Matthysse.

And Fausto... Easier to have a better D vs the guy fighting Peterson, Ajose, Zab, Devon, Soto...than Rees who put in a bit of work and Demarco, etc. Broner's resume puts its head down when Matthysse's walks by...

My man...the only person I personally thought would hand it to Lucas got laid out in 3 rounds. You take away the 2 questionable losses to Judah and Alexander and he is undefeated. He has a KO % of like 90%....time to step off the critic box and acknowledge this guy is the real deal. He is going to lay Garcia out, lay Khan out....no one will want to fight him unless they are forced to. He put Peterson down with a grazing shot to the top of the head......it was a half-missed punch and he took him down, that power is crazy man. Nothing is overhyped about him...I bet against him and I'm telling you...this guy is a modern day throw-back guy.

I'll bet Khan was calling Schaeffer over to him at the fight and saying "You remember I told you that I decided to move up to 147 to fight Devon Alexander, instead of being the guy that waits around to fight the winner of this tourney, right?? Right?!?!?"
