If only there was a big Argentine-American population, guys like Lucas and Marravilla wouldn't have to take such a long road to the top.

Manny had the huge Filipino-American market to tap into, as well as two Mexican superstars (and a third Mexican ATG) to match himself against. Don't see how Lucas could ever achieve that stardom unless he beat Manny, Marquez, or Floyd.

Manny's stardom was made hard work and lucky enough to have great competition and all stars on their own rights, without Barerra, Morales and Marquez, he wont be as big a star if he did the rounds vs other group of fighters and that caught dela hoya's eye and he kicked Manny stardom to the stratosphere....
