Not sure why people are mad, all the 140'ers are moving up anyways, Garcia, Lamont, Lucas, so he'll be fighting the same guys at a higher weight

Yes he'll be made to do the chicken dance, but I think its also psychological for him, in his head he feels he will be better at 147, he feels he will be stronger, so I think it's best he moves up, cuz boxing is also about confidence and at 140 his confidence has been knocked by the screw job Lamont fight, the loss to Garcia and the trainer change.

He can rack up a few wins at 147 as long as he stays away from the very very very hard punchers.

His chin might be better at WW but the power in the fighters punches is greater than at LWW so any gain if any is cancelled out. Khan is best fighting shorter men and a WW he will be fighting guys his own size which won't suit him at all.

LoL... At least Amir never fails to entertain... WW has a lot of huge punchers and for the first time Amir is facing opponents of the same size as he is. I am pretty sure his chin problem will be worse at WW.

The problem is that, like you also admitted to, is that he has a glass chin. Floyd is not a big puncher but he can put you down if you have a glass chin. Floyd would do it by countering Khan with something that Khan didn't see and bingo, that glass chin will shatter.

Everything else you said may be true. That is, to beat Floyd, you can do it with speed, good power and good movement.

Now, if what Khan says is really true then perhaps he has a chance .... but I will not buy that with winning 1 or 2 fights at 147 against guys that can't punch or are punchers but can't find him ..... Remember that Floyd loves to fight guys that are kinda green in the WW division.
