He is right because there is a big conflict of interest, because what promoter wants to do something that can kill their fight they put a lot of capital into and you would have to figure any of them would do anything they could by hook or by crook to make a fight come off one way or another.


Still promoters should be advocates for their fighters and if guys want it they should support that pursuit. Lord knows nothing changes in boxing quickly or easily so all the people pulling on the rope in the same direction is much more likely to get something done.

ironically, gbp is the only promoter who tried to dip their hands in drug testing in support of floyd. but when a couple of their fights got cancelled because of failed drug tests, they suddenly changed their tune and even hated VADA for it. schaefer is a ***** and a hypocrite.

I agree with this ... and its funny that all those that were strongly in favor of drug testing are no where to be found of late and even agreeing with everything Schaefer said .... lol!

Both Peterson and Berto were ranting their opponent and very vocal that they want their bout to be tested.....the irony is they were both ended up positive on taking ped on their system,,,,Floyd also very vocal about testing and believed to have tested positive 3x but USADA covered up the result....Broner is also very vocal against ped user and only wants USADA to conduct the test on his bout....testing was delayed for unknown reason that only USADA,Golden boy and Broner must have known......broner must be on a cycle...

Richard is talking about Montoya who is a righteous asswipe on drug testing. I only read Thomas Hauser on PEDS. He's unbiased and impartial. Montoya wouldn't know steroid from a hemorrhoid- the thin skinned wussy.

Richard sounds like Arum but he's right though... it shouldn't be a promoters job. It should be the commissions job to demand higher quality testing.
