Cotto was coming in at 146lbs before the Pac fight, and Cotto AGREED to fight at 145lbs... and Pac whoops him the same at any weight.

If you think about its no different than Manny ODH , The fight was at 147 because there is no way known Manny would fight him at 154 , Oscar done the calling out so Manny said fine at 147 a weight Oscar had not made in 13 years , this thing with Floyd is no different other than Floyd fought Oscar and Cotto at 154 even though he weighed 148 , Manny also fought for a 154 title so he could have said to Oscar ok 150 or he could have gave the weight to Oscar just as Floyd did .

Both situations you have the bigger guy calling out the little guy and the little guy says 147 , yet Floyd is a devil and Manny a saint , this is why I dont respect any Manny fans , they have no logic or fair play just worship and hate .
It's a hundred times different. Oscar was planning to move down and fight the Cotto-Margarito winner, which he hoped/thought would be Cotto. When it was Margarito, he decided to cherry pick Pac at the same weight he was already planning on fighting Cotto at. To think Manny Pacquiao had ANY power over Oscar De La Hoya as far as terms for a fight is downright ludicrous.

That's without even mentioning Pac was a lightweight, Mayweather is a titleholder at 154. Absolutely zero comparison.

You seriously believe the weight-draining didn't play a significant part in the Dawson TKO? You haven't thought this through.
Ward was putting a beating up on Froch, nearly had him out of there in one round. Ward has power, just not 1 punch knockout power.

Ward himself said after the S6 he was aiming to knock out more guys, become more appealing to the fans. It's not so hard to believe he changed his style a little to achieve that.

I'm sorry but you can't objectively argue what you are trying to do. Neither can I, there's just not enough evidence either way. So lets cut out the "You haven't thought this through" NSB crap.

so if 1lb isn't an issue why didnt Pac team just fight Cotto at 147 instead of the 145? they knew he was pushing his limits making 147, also if Pac can beat him at any weight why wont he fight him without a catchweight? I agree with you on the rest of your post.

Oscar had not made 147 in 13 yrs , he went there because Pac would not fight him at 154 , Oscar called him out he said yep at 147 , I dont go along with your interpretation I just go with the weights and what actually happened , and guess what its the same as whats happening now , maybe its just all BS and Floyd never said a thing about 147 , where as Manny really did it , Floyd as yet has not !

Amazing how you argue what actually happened against a rumor .

Why was he fighting Forbes at 150? He really wanted a piece of Steve, and made a weight concession?

With these ****** questions you're asking it's clear you weren't following boxing at the time. That's fine, all new fans are welcome, but just shut up about something you don't have a clue about

Dawson and The Transvestite willingly drained themselves. Fraud is making Canelo drain himself or no fight.

Cotto was nowhere near drained against Pacquiao. His best weight was always at 140, he came in at 145 against judah, and he regularly comes in 146.

When a fighter is drained, you can easily see it. It's not really something you can hide. It's blatantly visible. Anyone who keeps saying cotto was drained either A. Has never seen the Pacquiao- Cotto fight or B. Has no idea wtf they're talking about and are just running their mouth.
