JAMES DEGALE believes his Canadian debut tonight will be the springboard to a world super-middleweight title fight.

The 2008 Olympic gold medallist boxes Sebastien Demers, who has home advantage in Quebec, in a non-title fight.

DeGale, 27, has been sidelined since December and struggled with a knee injury, but is determined to make up for lost time.
