Khan does not deserve a shot at the Welterweight title as he has not fought at welterweight he needs to fight a top class opponent before earning the right - the most obvious choice is Brook - this would be a sell out in the UK - Kell is No1 so this earns him the right - Brook wants the fight so do the Britsh Boxing Public and this would be perfect warm up fight for Brook who has not been active due to postponements and injuries - then Khan can say he has earned the right - but I think Brook wins this one middle to late rounds.

No - there was no doubt Devon won that fight. He needs to fight Lucas again when he moves up.....

I'm talking about Amir Khan, he owes Maidana a rematch. He won decisively, but the hell Maidana put him through, Cortez getting too involved, that warranted a rematch. I don't care if Khan wins in the sort of fashion that replicates the first fight, that is more than enough closure for me, but the fight warrants a rematch.

Maybe Khan is a stepping stone but Brook isn't even at the level of deserving a stepping stone at the moment considering he just quit before fighting his first formidable opponent. Listen to Eddie Hearn who said the exact same thing--at this point, Brook has no right to be in the ring with Khan. Maybe in a year or two, but right now he is a nobody who isn't terrible enough to qualify for a rebuilding fight and hasn't proven himself to deserve a legitimate shot.

What's with all the hate for Amir? Sure, he runs his mouth and has a poor chin, but when he enters the ring with a game plan (Judah fight etc.) he's a decent boxer. He's not some BUM as some of the ******s on NSB make out.

To some there's just no middle ground. They're either a warrior or ducker; a world class fighter or bum. Get real.

Why does Brook have to "deserve" a fight with Khan? What have Molina and Diaz done that was more "deserving"?

Brook got injured, he did not chicken out, injuries happen during intense training, fights gets rescheduled all the time. It can happen to the best of fighters, Ward before Pavlik, Mayweather before Marquez etc.

Idiots on here always contradict themselves by saying "x" has never fought anyone and then in the next breath "x" needs to fight a name.

Brook did the right thing by winning his eliminators and earning a shot, he has just been unlucky that injuries have kept it away from him.

As he has lost his chance, then what better than a huge domestic fight with Khan to prove if a) Brook is able to reach the top level and b) if Khan can get back there. It would do big numbers in the UK and I personally would love to see it as it could go either way. I think Khan has the better skills but Brook is no mug either.
