Lightweight Ivan Otero (11-2, 2 KOs) outworked and outslugged Aaron Anderson (2-21-1, 1 KO) en route to lopsided six round unanimous decision at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston. Dictating the tempo from the outset, Otero battered Anderson with punches to the upstairs and down throughout but simply could not stop his survival-oriented opponent. Anderson seemed more intent on clowning around and antagonizing the crowd than winning the fight, but his antics did annoy Otero enough to throw him a tad off his game plan.
