Interesting how in Ali's day the style of fight that he employed, which places a heavy emphasis on constant ring movement, evasion & elusiveness wasn't considered running by the boxing media and fans at large. But if a boxer were to employ a similar style of fight in this day and age it would be considered "running" by a large swath of so called boxing fans. Honestly, i blame the post Rocky generation for this devolution in thought. It's like a large segment of boxing fans want to take that pesky boxing element (ring generalship & defense, which is half of boxing's scoring criteria) out of the sport of boxing.

Best display of pugilism I ever saw. The art of boxing and moving, hit whilst not getting hit. This was a masterclass performance.
