I'm now convinced that Wilder is being groomed to be the next " great " American Heavyweight champion he'll be next in line to take the torch from the Klitchkos if everything goes as planned. He now has the backing of GB and Al Haymon and they already have 140-154 locked down with the majority of the best fighters and pretty much all the belts except the WBO which seems to be reserved for Top Rank fighters and they have a grasp on the 135 + 160 division as well. If they get the Heavyweight division they pretty much have the boxing industry by the nuts. Golden Boy and Haymon are going for the jugular and out to control boxing. If it keeps up like this in a couple years Bob Arum is going to be looking like Don King as far as power with in the industry.

for years al haymon has been getting his fighters on TV for very good money consistently. he has a ton of influence with the TV networks.

controlling the careers of many of the planet's best boxers affords him huge influence over the sport

I was high on Wilder for a long time but have less interest in him since he beat that woman up in Vegas. I just can't sweep that 'incident' under the rug like many seem to be doing now.
