Alls I know is if lil Floyd take the fight at 154 nothing will happen. Just like nothing happen to Oscar or cotto. I'm sure nothing will happen to canelo. He will get his check and leave with no scratch win or lose. Why do u guys act like Floyd punish or finish off his opponents??

I wasnt talking about Floyd punishing his opponents. Im talking about how quickly every bodies opinion will change if the fight get announced at 154. I expect the usual flip flop. Canelos a cherry-picked opponent bull****.

Damn, that's some Prime Freddie Roach/Pacquiao type of ****. Floyd better calm his father down and save face quickly by addressing the media that he'd fight Canelo at 154.

yours dont either. one thing is for sure though...all the casual fans will always remember floyd for 1 thing... and thats never fighting pacquiao... even non boxing fans wanted to see that. floyd could have established himself as number 1 but he was too much of a coward to fight. when people think of floyd years from now they will think of pacquiao... they go hand in hand, casuals will be like "geezh i wonder what happened to the other guy" "geezh i wonder who wouldve won"

Simple. FMJ is ducking. A true Champion would not have the kind of issues FMJ seems to have. Paper champ in my book.

To be the best you have to fight the best.

A fair condition, IMO, would be to have the fight at 154lbs with the restriction that the fighters would still have to be at 154lbs on fight night.

That way Floyd and Canelo would be very close on size entering the ring and an attainable task for Canelo.

At 147lbs, with 150lbs on fight night, that's handicapping Canelo completelly.
