Previously unbeaten lightweight Bashir Sadiq suffered a shocking 1st round knockout loss at the hands of local underdog Dominic Shchukin (1-1-1, 1KO). A straight right hand put the Afghani prospect down barely a minute into the bout. Sadiq (3-1, 1KO) desperately tried to beat the count, but was still wobbly even as he attempted to protest the referee's stoppage, which came at 1:23 of round one. [Click Here To Read More]

I completely agree.i am sick of these ****ty decisions.Malcolm made will look like a amateur at times and completely schooled him.in wills own heart he will know he lost this fight and it won't be too long until he gets put on his back.

I'm guessing the two of you are South Africans because that is the only way you could see that. 116-111 is just a ridiculous scorecard, Klassen did not through enough punches or rock Tomlinson enough to win more than 3 rounds. He would have struggled to land more than 10 punches in any round whilst Tomlinson came forward the whole fight and klassen did not even throw in the last four when he could have turned that cut into a TKO. I sat ringside, although speaking of robberies the Gartlett decision earlier was a definitive hometown decision against Taliwe.

I will say for the record that I'm fine with Tomlinson getting the win. I had Klassen barely winning, but saw it as a one-point fight either way. Klassen could have done a lot more in several rounds and flat out threw the fight away down the stretch.

But those scores were absolutely ridiculous and the 1st round knockdown made no sense whatsover.
