    Lucas Matthysse has finally arrived in the United States as he will be facing one of his toughest challenges when he squares off against Lamont Peterson in a highly anticipated fight for Junior Welterweight supremacy this Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.

    Matthysse is regarded by many to be the best and most dangerous fighter in the 140 pound division and being able to beat a fighter like Peterson will go a long way to confirming that. The winner of this fight is also scheduled to face reigning WBC Junior Welterweight champion Danny Garcia later this year in September.       Unfortunately Haymon will have put a hidden clause in his contract that stipulates he can't fight any of Haymon's cash cows

          Matthysse is gonna win but it's not good to count chicks before they hatch! It's been proven time and time again, it's not good to overlook your current fight!

                          Yeah I wondered if this is why Haymon suddenly signed Matthysse when he's just one win away from a Garcia showdown myself... Seems convenient timing to me. Shame if its true coz Garcia Vs Matthysse would be a legit lineal 140lbs title fight to look forward to!

                              If Lucas does fight Garcia after Peterson and knocks both of them out he deserves to be Fighter of the Year.

                                  Why wouldnt Haymon not want to put Garcia and Matthysse in with each other? He gets a piece of both fighters. Its not like the value of either fighter is going to drop off much. Showtime loves both of them because of their entertainment value. Now a guy like Alexander, who can stink up the joint, is the one that should be worried.

                                      Technically Matthysse is still Garcia's mando even if he loses. Cause this fight vs PEDerson isn't at 140.
