BoxingScene.com has been informed that Top Rank is looking at signing Georgian fighter Levan Ghvamichava (9-0) if all goes well in his fight this Saturday in Puerto Rico. The 27-year-old prospect faces tough Puerto Rican Samuel Santana (5-8-1). Although his record is less than stellar, Santana is a tough fighter who has never been knocked out.
He showed his toughness when he was knocked down four times in six rounds by hot prospect Jose Benavidez on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez 3 undercard yet made it to the final bell.
