If the PPV price was $60 and a million people bought tickets, that is at least $60M + the 9.9M from the gate. Without including Sponsorship money, they should have brought in 69M. Minus Floyds cut, Guererro's pay, and marketing, expenses should be around 53M, so there is still millions in profit.

Also, Showtime having Floyd helps make it the go-to place for boxing.

That is impressive, especially considering that he only fights once a year and has no major endorsements while the other athletes have to play a full schedule and playoffs lol

You take away the other Athletes Endorsement And It is Really Not Close!

Pacs is a warrior for choosing a stronger, brawler, a harder puncher, with granite chin and great stamina in Rios after a brutal KO loss....

          which is in contrast to
JMM fought Likar Ramos after TKO win over Katsidis.
Floyd fought lightweight Marquez in WW bout.
Floyd fought Cotto after Cotto suffered a brutal beatdown against Pacs and Marg.

I could care less how much money he makes the real question is why with all that money did he still owe money to the IRS and routinely defaults on leased cars and loans?

Dude, Rios is coming off of a LOSS, is a SMALLER FIGHTER. As a matter of fact, he is coming off of a loss at only his SECOND fight at 140! Never fought at welterweight.

He was a harder puncher, granite chin, blah blah blah, but he still just LOST to a fighter who is in no way shape or form as good as Manny Pacquaio is supposed to be.

You left out that Pacquiao fought Mosley and De La Hoya AFTER the were outclassed and broken by Mayweather. and fought Hatton AFTER he was brutally knocked out by a left hook and a turnbuckle. if you are going to tell the story, tell the whole story.

Most rich people owe money to the IRS.

The potential to make money is still the best and I am glad a fighter is showing what can be achieved in boxing even today.

Now actually getting to that level is like finding the pot of gold at the end of a double rainbow but just that opportunity can fuel a lot of dreams for young fighters.

People knock all the money that gets made at the top but without that money at the top there is a much more limited future for the sport and who will be willing to take the risks a boxing career brings.
