Anyway, I give Quillin a shot at beating Golovkin. He's right when he says GGG gets hit too much and PQ can really crack.
Yea but Rodriguez had the 1M dollar tourney lined up no?

I'd say Quillin got the better defense out of both of these guys too.

This is a 50/50 fight for me. Both guys can hit, both guys seem to have bad stamina and their defense isn't great but giving Quillin the slight edge in that department.

Maybe years down the road. That's a big maybe, but certainly no time soon.

Maybe, but my reason for posting the figure was to show that a fight with Golovkin is not peanuts like some have suggested in the past. I would have thought 500k is a good fee.

On Golovkin-Quillin, it's a good fight but personally I wouldn't go as far as 50-50, maybe 60-40 in GGG's favour. Quillin has a real shot with his power but if Golovkin can survive the first few rounds I think he would win. Quillin appeared to struggle with N'dam's work-rate.

          Yea, thats good money.

Well, while I give Quillin the slight edge in defense you could give the slight edge in power to GGG.

I like both guys so its whatever.

make the fight and let's find out!

after golovikin stops macklin one of the title holders is going to have to step up later this year. if golovikin will go to australia i think geale is the most likely.

I think the stumbling block to that is "will Geale sign the contract?"

Would be a great fight and very entertaining, but it's not the first time that Quillin said he wouldn't fight Golovkin. If he really wants to prove his "Animal Status" this is the fight he should take, not looking to fight Ishe Smith now he won a title at 154.

I'd favour Golovkin slightly, for the simple fact he's known to be able to take a punch, I dunno if Quillin is.

Plus Pete's so robotic, saying Golovkin's got no room for improvement and Quillin does don't seem to realise that there's only a year in the difference between them! Golovkins 31, Quillins acts like hes 22 but the guy's 30 in a few weeks!

This is the best matchup that can be made at 160. Martinez is on the shelf and on his way out. I think 3G can beat Quillen today but the longer this fight takes to make Quillen will get better.
