I'm a fan of Mayweather Sr too. But those bashing McGirt for being over-rated (they might have a point, but he's a good trainer) could do the same for Mayweather Sr. What has he done with DLH? DLH-Vargas... maybe, but that was more a testament to Vargas' endurance. Francisco Bojado???

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is my favorite trainer in the game right now and is the greatest trainer in the world.

I Dont Think Oscar Looks Better With Mayweather Senior Training Him. Raheem Is A Vet, An Olympian. He Will Look As Slick As Usual. Mayweather Sr. Is No Doubt A Good Trainer But His Big Claim To Fame Is That He Claims He Is A Great Trainer. I Doubt He Is As Good As He Wants You To Believe.

                  No, son.
He's going to learn how to be even more defensive.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. sucks as a trainer. Unless any of you all have evidence contrary to that?

Wasn't De La Hoya like 5-2 with Mayweather as his trainer? Not to mention three of those wins came against Gatti, who De La Hoya DWARFED, Castillejo (who I still don't know who he is), and the ever-dangerous Yori Boy Campas who should have retired the day Trinidad took his head off. IMPRESSIVE! P.S. De La Hoya deserved to lose to Sturm too. And as for Vargas? Well, he was damaged goods after the Trinidad fight.
