I'm no fan of Haye, especially not after the toe debacle, but people gave him hell for not pulling out beforehand if he has a problem, he does that and still gets a load of crap. Its pretty dumb.

Wow the people in these threads are so knowledgeable arnt they, yes its fact that boxers set up these fights with full intention to cancel them anyway in a JFK style conspiracy, and yes its fact that professional sportsmen do not succumb to injury as the best way to to go into training for the real thing is to wrap yourself in cotton wool and sit on your sofa all day playing ps3......in fact I'm sure haye said that's how he prepared when he unified the cruisers and won the wba heavyweight title.
